WEB Carlton Bub Carrington is a Baltimore native through and through playing local AAU ball with Team Melo and attending St. Paul's School before graduating in 2022. A 6'7" combo guard with ideal size and physical attributes, Carrington has drawn comparisons to Tyrese Haliburton for his 6'7" frame and ball handling skills. The Wizards selected Carrington with the No. 14 pick in the 2024 NBA Draft.

Carrington was a Lightly Touted High School Recruit

Carrington was a four-star high school prospect out of Baltimore and ended up signing with Pitt as part of Jeff Capel's highest-ranked recruiting class in his tenure in Pittsburgh. Carrington originally signed with Georgetown before re-opening his recruitment and committing to Pitt in November of 2022. As a senior, Carrington averaged 23 points, six rebounds, and four assists while leading St. Paul's to a 23-4 record. He was named the Baltimore Catholic League Player of the Year and was a first-team All-State selection.
